Aurichlor

Drop: Each 10 mL of Aurichlor ear drops 5% contains: Chloramphenicol B.P 500 mg.

Pack size: A dropper bottle of 10 mL.

Chloramphenicol is a potent inhibitor of microbial protein synthesis. Chloramphenicol acts as bacteriostatic against a wide range of bacteria.

Infections caused by chloramphenicol susceptible organisms, acute and chronic otitis, persistent otorrhoea, suppurative otitis media, Suppuration in radical or fenestration cavitities etc.

Bone marrow hypoplasia.

It should not be combined with other antibiotics or sulphonamides.

DOSAGE 2-3 drops thrice-daily or as directed by the physician.

• Protect from heat and light.

• Use clear solution only.

• Use within 4 weeks after opening the bottle.

• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
