💊 Composition & Mechanism of Action

• Olmesartan Medoxomil: An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that helps relax blood vessels by inhibiting the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone that constricts blood vessels.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ): A thiazide diuretic that works by increasing the excretion of sodium and chloride in the urine, leading to a reduction in blood volume and, consequently, lower blood pressure.

Indications

• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).
